Integrated controller 4 kW DC inverter 04KWDCEVIONE

Sensorless control algorithm Integrated 4 kW DC controller model 04KWDCEVIONE uses vector control PMSM sensorless, based on FOC with the third harmonic modulation method. This reduces the number of switchings, lowers losses and optimizes the use of the bus voltage, extending the compressor speed range. It is intended for the control of DC compressors used in air-to-water heat pumps and ground-water.

Communication protocol

Standard Modbus Communication with the main controller is done via the standard Modbus protocol. Main transmission parameters:

  • Against: RTU

  • Date: 8 bits

  • Bit the stop: 1

  • Parity check: absent

  • Check: CRC

  • Transmission speed: 2400 baud (default)

  • Hardware interface: RS485

Start and stop

  • Starting: The axis activates upon receiving a non-zero command frequency.

  • Stop: If the command frequency is zero, the axis stops.

Frequency adjustment

  • Increasing the frequency: By default, growth is done at speed 1 Hz/sec or according to the parameter 40013.

  • Frequency reduction: By default, the decrease is done at speed 1 Hz/sec or according to the parameter 40014.

Protection functions

Input current protection

Monitors the current to be below the maximum allowed value. If the current exceeds the limit for a 10 seconds, the controller issues an alarm signal and stops the axis.

Output current protection

Monitors the current to be below the maximum output value. If the current exceeds the limit for a 10 seconds, the axis stops with an alarm signal.

Overheating protection (IPM)

  • At temperatures between 83–87°C, the speed of frequency increase is limited to 1 Hz/20 sec.

  • At temperatures between 87–92°C, the frequency stabilizes.

  • At temperatures between 92–99°C, the frequency decreases with speed 1 Hz/10 sec.

  • At temperatures above 99°C, the device stops in 3 seconds.

  • Normal operation returns once the temperature drops below 83°C.

Instantaneous Overload Protection (IPM)

When the set current or temperature threshold is exceeded, the IPM instantly disconnects to prevent damage to the IPM and demagnetize the compressor.

Surge protection

The system is protected against overload or voltage drop on the input and bus.

Emergency stop of the axis

  1. If the compressor does not start, the system makes up to 6 attempts with interval of 10 secondsIf all else fails, the axis is forced to stop.

  2. Integrated 4 kW DC controller also stops in case of overload or high pressure.

Phase loss protection

When detecting a lack of current in one of the phases, the compressor stops and emits an alarm signal.

Emergency stop in case of communication failure

If the controller does not receive data from the command device for 60 seconds, acesta emite un semnal de alarmă și se oprește până la restabilirea comunicației.
